Updated 13 March The crucial match between Notts and Worcs was played 12 March. Notts won 9-7, going to the top of the table. At the first match in March, Staffs shoot to the top of the table with an emphatic win against Shropshire. In February, Notts and Derbys win matches to put Notts second in the table. Returning to the fray in 2010, Worcs go to top of the table with a home win against Derbys, but Staffs have a match in hand. Meanwhile Notts thrashed Shrops. On 12 December, Notts lost to Warks and Worcs drew with leaders Staffs. On 28 November, Worcs beat Warks to go second in the table. Lincolnshire withdrew because of the difficulty of fielding teams. With fewer than half their fixtures completed, the match with Staffs has been ruled void and is in the table only for completeness. First results showed a good win for Warks and Notts and a narrow win by Staffs. Staffs further increased their lead with a decisive away win against Warks. Worcs were the first side to secure a home win this season.
(1) Match declared void and does not count for the table at the top because Lins withdrew. Both sides defaulted on board 16. The Events Director has ruled that in cases where both sides default, both should score zero. |
