About two Midlands Grands Prix

Congress organisers

To facilitate rapid publication of results, please send them to the webmaster as a list: family name, given name, club affiliation, grade, score. If your list is not computerised I can accept results from digital photographs of tournament charts if that will speed things up, but please telephone the webmaster first at 01905 454 754.

Who can compete?

Players who are eligible to play for one of the MCCU counties: Derbyshire, Greater Manchester, Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire can compete in these two Grand Prix.

Midlands Grand Prix, individual MCCU Champion, MCCU's nomination for a place in the British Championship

This competition, first run in 2007, determines the title of the Midlands Individual Champion, and offers a nominated place and bursary for entry in the British Championship. Any player who is eligible to play for one of the MCCU counties: Derbyshire, Greater Manchester, Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire.

Any questions should be directed to Ray Dolan. Use the "GP leader board" menu button on the left to see the state of the race and the calendar for future events.

Midlands Under-150 Rapid Grand Prix
