Peter Evans had to step in with a deficit on his clock to avoid a default on board 10, but made good a draw with veteran Worcestershire player Terry Pountney. Worcester’s youngest players had mixed results with Ned Guyatt (Nunnery Wood HS, Worcester) winning on board 13.
