Match report from Steve Emmerton. In the Clash Of The Canines at Bushbury the Bulldogs made dogmeat of the Terriers. Despite marginally outgrading the Bulldogs on all but the top board, the Terriers were outplayed. It looked good for the Terriers when Paul Shelley won a piece within the first 15 minutes of play on Board 9. But he blundered a few minutes later giving the Bulldogs a lead they maintained to the end. Congratulations to Peter Evans in his first match as Captain of the Bulldogs.
