2 July. Two Midlands champions! Nottinghamshire win the u180, and Warwickshire the u120. The Warks u100 team lost to Essex. The Devon CA site also has a report of the very exciting u180 final match. The result of one of the u100 semi final matches was the subject of an appeal and the controler ruled that Lancs had fielded an ineligible player in the match against Essex. After removal of the ineligible player's score and deducting a penalty point, Essex went through to the finals where they beat Warwickshire. Full results of all finals and many other matches are are on the ECF website. [Result of u100 semifinal and final match corrected 8 July. Apologies for getting this and thanks to Mick Norris who has kept the editor on his toes.]

11 Jun. Two Warks teams through to the finals as do Notts u180! In the u120, Warks narrowly beat Yorks and Yorks conceded the u100 match. In the other semi finals, Lincs minor, Notts u160, and Worcs u140 lost narrowly. In the Open, Staffs lost to Surrey.

31 May. Midlands counties are represented in all semi finals. Each plays 'foreigners': Open, Staffs; Minor Counties, Lincs; u180, Notts; u160, Notts; u140 Worcs; u120, Warks; and u100, Warks.

28 May. In the u120, Staffs Bulldogs lose to Lancs to leave Warks the Midlands' standard bearer in the semi finals.

In the Minor, Lincs book thei semi-final place beating Norfolk as do Notts u160 who beat Suffolk; but GMC u160 bow out to Lancs, Notts u140 lose to Kent and Worcs u120 lost on board count to Yorkshire. In the u100 competition, Warks know they play Yorks in the semi-final.

15 May. In the Open Staffs are through to the semi-final as are Worcester who beat Lancashire in the u140 competition. In the u120 championship Warks beat Herts on board count.
