Match report Giles Stanton. Worcs had some familiar faces to the team with convincing wins from Mark Riley and Don Curry. Even with the two point cushion, Worcs wwere fortunate to win. Worcs had a wobbly start loosing on boards 11 and 1 and soon the scores were even at 4½ each. The Worcesters' mentum was restored by some assured play from their middle order and impressive wins from Steve Shaw, Paul Sharratt and Ian Truscott. Peter Banks hard-fought game took Worcs over the winning line .
