David Anderton writes: Staffs lost to Kent at the same stage last year by 10 – 6. Staffs average July Rating was then 182 to Kent's 194. This year both average ratings were higher: Staffs 186 and Kent 197. For the second time Staffs top board IM Loz Cooper beat GM Neil McDonald.
