Neil Graham reports. Nottinghamshire were in their fourth u140 final in five years. The three previous occasions had seen the Midlands county lose by the smallest of margins but at last the time had come for Notts to claim the trophy. After establishing an early lead of 4½-1½, the gap between the sides was maintained throughout and when Notts reached 8-5 this was enough to guarantee a win on board count. The final three boards added a further win and two draws for Notts to give a convincing win by 10-6 over Yorkshire.
